Music videos get better by the day, quite often turning into short movies with a story behind. So is the rendition of Rufus and Chaka Khan’s 1980s big hit, Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better). The new video sees German music producer Felix Jaehn and singer Jasmine Thompson taking over, refreshing the story. Daimler's new supermini is also starring in it.
Product placement is an old story, but it was only recently carmakers started officially promoting their new models in music videos.

The one in question is a single released by Universal Music, and it dishes up catchy rhythms and danceable grooves. The video shows the young artists both exploring the lively and trendy city of Barcelona in their way. Felix takes the city by the road as he roams around at the wheel of the Smart ForFour while Jasmine stays busy dancing.

Since we’re not here to talk about the music, let us take a closer look at the car in question. According to Daimler, the supermini car in question is, in fact, the first edition of the new four-seater. It features the tridion safety cell in lava orange and a graphite gray body. Completing the joyful feeling the panoramic roof gives to the car, the black-with-orange interior also radiates pure joie de vivre.

The Germans’ plan is to have the Smart ForFour represented as a cool city car people gladly drive this summer while the new song plays in the background. Since it’s apparently the first music video the new Smart is seen in, we figured it was nice we shared it with you guys.

Editor’s note: we still like the 1983 version of the song better, sorry.
