Skoda Superb Awarded Best Estate Car in 2011 by Fleet World

The Skoda Superb Estate has won the award for Best Estate Car in the 2011 Fleet World Honours. Martin Burke, Head of Fleet Sales for Skoda UK collected the prestigious category trophy at the event that was held yesterday at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, London.

Skoda received a total of 25 major awards in 2010, including Best Manufacturer in the What Car? Reader Awards 2010, Best Manufacturer in the 2010 Auto Express Driver Power survey and Which? Best Car Manufacturer of the year 2010. The Superb also received a total of 11 major awards last year.

“For businesses looking for an estate that can perform roles from job-need to user-chooser executive perk car, there is nothing to beat the exceptionalŠkoda Superb. Huge interior space is its key asset, but it also has a wide range of excellent petrol and diesel engines to suit all types of budget, while the new GreenLine II range offers this vast, comfortable and well-built car with CO2 levels as low as 114g/km,”
awarding the Best Estate Car honour, Fleet World commented.

“Skoda’s drive to impress corporate users with cars that offer a blend of high specification, low running costs, high standards of quality, and excellent environmental performance is paying dividends. We believe there’s no better example of that than the Skoda Superb Estate,” said Martin Burke, Head of Fleet Sales for Skoda UK.

The Fleet World Honours are presented annually to motor manufacturers, service companies and individuals who have, in the opinion of the judges, achieved the highest possible level of excellence in their sector. The jury panel is chaired by Steve Moody, Editor of Fleet World, and includes other experts from the magazine’s editorial team.
