Skoda Rapid Commercial: Dad's Auction

We know Toyota believes you will lose your wife if you buy a GT 86, but hints that it’s actually for the better. But if you like doing family things, like assembling things with your hands, you’d probably be much better off with a Skoda.
The compact sedan targets the European affordable car market, but does so without making too many compromises. Because it’s a family car, it’s pictured doing family thing in this commercial. The Rapid is the car that makes dad happy, because he can use it to get his kids to do the chores in exchange for being taken to the movies or hockey.

The TV commercial is cheeky, subliminally implying the whole family likes the new Rapid.

The Rapid slots in the range between the Fabia and Octabia and is available with a range of VW Group engines, the pick of the bunch being the 1.6 TDI with 105 PS.

“This is a model which sets benchmarks in the compact saloon segment: The Skoda Rapid is a roomy, elegant and at the same time an affordable car for the whole family, impressing with clever solutions, cutting-edge technology and high economy. In short, it is a car permitting mobility in a comfortable, reasonably priced and environmentally friendly package. The right car at the right time,” said Skoda CEO, Winfired Vahland.
