Skoda Fabia Facelift Official Info and Pictures

Skoda has presented the facelifted version of the Fabia and Roomster ahead of their Geneva debut. The Fabia hatchback, Fabia estate and Roomster MPV have now adopted the Skoda family identity, introduced by the much-bigger sister Superb. The facelift also includes the Scout model. The most important changes include a new radiator grille and redesigned headlights. The latter have been widened "to highlight the horizontal line of the vehicle's front". The revised versions ride on fresh alloy rims and can be ordered in a wider range of colors. The styling changes are accompanied by significant technical ones, as the Fabia’s engine range now features new TSI turbocharged petrol engines and TDI diesel units, some of which can be mated to the 7-speed DSG double clutch gearbox. There are three diesel units available: a 75 HP 1.2 liter TDI, a 90HP 1.6 liter TDI and a beefier version of the latter, that produces 105 HP. All these feature common-rail injection and are equipped with a Diesel Particle Filter. The gasoline part of the engine line-up comprises of a 60 HP 1.2 liter (not available on the Roomster), a 70HP 1.2 liter, a 86 HP 1.4 liter, a 86HP 1.2 TSI, a 105 HP 1.6 liter, a 105 hp 1.2 TSI.
