Skoda Death by Digger Explained Plus Three New Videos!

Car Cruelty in the Czech Republic 1 photo

We were saddened to last week when we showed you a perfectly good Skoda Superb being flattened in a very barbaric fashion by a man in a digger. Well, according to carscoop.blogspot.com, there are in fact three more videos of different Skoda models being destroyed.
Apparently, the Superb, Fabia Estate, Yeti and Octavia Scout destroyed in the four total video were part of a competition among some Czech fire departments, who attempted to reach the ‘people’ trapped inside, in under 20 minutes. The cars were wrecked to make it seem as if they had been part of an accident.

While it is (kind of) justified, they could have used already-wrecked Skodas to prove their point, and not wreck four perfectly good cars in a recession-stricken Europe. That, we most certainly do not agree with, as it could have been done in so many other ways, that the solution chosen is simply outrageous.

Sadly, some people still have money to spend, and they do so foolishly, with a complete disregard for the work that has gone into building those cars, plus the financial part, as they wrecked around €80,000- ($98,000-) worth of good cars - shame on them for doing such an unjustifiably cruel act! This just goes to show how badly this world, as a whole, is run.
