The prefecture of Val d'Oise has put up a very shocking photo album for the motorcycle students in the area, hoping that the images will make the future riders be more careful on the road.
While many of those who will see such graphic content would most likely say this is gruesome initiative (and be altogether right), it looks like this is exactly what some guys have to be confronted with in the perspective of obtaining the right to ride a bike on public roads.

The photos have been taken by the emergency teams during the last 5 years and grouped in an album distributed in all the moto schools in the department.

The European regulations have grown increasingly restrictive for new riders, and still France has the 100 HP rule, making it illegal to sell bikes more powerful than the specified hundred horsepower. Bikes exceeding this limit must be sold with a restricted engine.

However, it makes little to no difference at all whether a rider does 200 km/h (124 mph) in an urban area on a 200hp Busa or rides the A2-spec Ninja 300 with less than the legal 47 HP. Le Parisien, via MotorBiker.
