Many years after having a successful sitcom “about nothing,” Jerry Seinfeld decided to make an online comedy show.
Seinfeld’s new show is called Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and it has reached its ninth season. The first episode of the new season will air on January 5th, 2017.

You will find it on Crackle, the same place where the rest of the episodes can be viewed, and each of them features a distinctive automobile that is used by Seinfeld to drive a personality to get a cup of coffee together.

The creators of the show have released a trailer for the ninth season, which features people like Christoph Waltz, Cedric the Entertainer, and Kristen Wiig. The lineup also includes many talented actors and comedians. As usual, Jerry Seinfeld arrives to pick them up with a different car for every guest. The trailer reveals a few models from Volvo, BMW, and Porsche.

The latter is Seinfeld’s favorite brand, and that is something that probably most of you already know by now. Jerry Seinfeld is an avid Porsche collector, but his other cars are also exciting. Acura remains the sponsor of the show, and you can see a scene with the 2017 Acura NSX in the trailer.

Just like before, watching this show is entirely free, and it even comes without commercials. This aspect is relevant these days, especially in the context where many shows today are either based on a paid-subscription, or involve product placement.

We are noting this because the show was reportedly on the market a few months back, but it appears that it has remained with Sony’s streaming service, Crackle.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee will have a new show every Thursday, so make sure to tune in to see the latest one every week. From what we have seen in the trailer, the show will continue to feature insightful stories from the career of each of Seinfeld’s guests, along with the kind of comedy that has made this gentleman famous.

In over fourteen years, he got behind the wheel of several hundred vehicles and in the offices of the most important car publications in his homeland.
