Russian drivers seem to be willing to do pretty much anything, if it gets them even one car-length ahead. They will drive in the oncoming lane, on the side of the road, on tram lines and in some more extreme cases, on the sidewalk.
However, well-mannered Russian people take offense with such acts, just as much as we do, and this particular man has a very unique way of protesting his disapproval of driving on the sidewalk (in this case). He seems to have clambered onto the roof of a Euro Ford Fusion (raised version of Fiesta, not this Fusion), and refuses to get down.
While we admire the young man for his dare-we-call it bravery, the measure is perhaps a bit extreme. Still, at least somebody is doing something to drive common sense back into the forefront of people’s thinking, because if nobody is willing to change, and everybody repeats the same mistakes over and over again, they tend to become the norm, and that is very dangerous!
