Roding Roadster 23 First Real World Spotting

With only 23 examples to ever hit the road, you’re probably never going to see a Roding Roadster on the road, right? (god, that’s a lot of ‘R’s)
Well not if you’re in Monaco, where all the big money is gathering right now. This is most likely the first real life spotting video of the car that that only recently made its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show

As its name suggests, the Roding Rodster is a drop-top sportscar. The engine in the back of this thing was taken from a BMW and produces 320 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque from all six of its cylinders. As you can hear, it pops and bangs on the overruns, but there’s still a bit of BMW left in there.

But the true party piece of the car is its custom built carbon fiber chassis. The combo of bright red and the weave of the carbon give the car its unique looks.

The lightweight construction makes possible a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 285km/h (177 mph).
