The German tuning company Rieger has developed a complete tuning kit for the Volkswagen Golf GTI.

For the moment, the company has only released the details of the exterior styling modifications, with the technical upgrade expected to be announced later. Considering that the GTI’s 200 hp turbocharged 2.0 liter engine is one of the most tuner-friendly units currently available on the market, we expect to see a serious enhancement.

Moving on to the tuned hot hatch’s appearance, we can see that the front end of the car has received a lip spoiler that includes a central carbon-look splitter and foglight ribs. The first has been built using fiber glass mesh and ABS inserts and is an add-on part for the factory stock front bumper. The tuner displays its logo through the use of a special vinyl placed at the top of the windshield. The car has also received a set of side skirts that feature a bold design and come with cut-out sections.

The rear of the Golf GTI has received a bumper addition that incorporates a carbon-look diffuser with 4 air fins and new dual oval exhaust tips, which come with an exhaust sound control system. The new element can be mounted on the existing rear bumper, with the Park Assist-equipped GTIs getting a different kit. In addition to that, the tuner has gifted the car with a roof spoiler.

Rieger's version of the Golf GTI has ditched the stock rims, using a set of 20 inch, two finish, bespoke wheels, which are wrapped in fresh 235/30 sport tires.
