It remains to be seen, though if we were to bet on it, we'd say it will remain a competitor to the new-gen Ford Mustang and the upcoming Dodge Charger that's expected at the end of 2024. One way to make it futureproof would be to launch it with both internal combustion engines and battery-electric assemblies.

In fact, we know nothing about it, and neither does the rendering crowd that has come up with numerous unofficial digital illustrations portraying a supposed successor to the sixth generation. Chevrolet last used this nameplate back in 1977, so it doesn't make much sense to bring it back from the dead and tie it to a muscle car when the Camaro is a more important moniker. Likely made with a heavy dose of AI, they portray a very muscly model that looks similar to the discontinued Camaro.
