General Motors probably feels the Toyota heat after the first quarter's sales tally showed it might lose the American crown if it continues with the downward trend. No worries, it probably won't.
During Q1 of 2024, General Motors slipped 1.5% while Toyota jumped more than 20%, and the difference between the companies was just 30k vehicles or so. The Japanese automaker has a raft of novelties like the Lexus GX 550, N400 Toyota Tacoma, 2024 Land Cruiser, 2025 Camry, and Crown Signia, plus the 2025 4Runner all-rounder SUV.

Meanwhile, GM can easily leverage its variety of brands – Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and GMC. All of them have their novelties, from the bunch of IQs along with the 2025 CT5 from Cadillac to the big GMC models. Speaking of the latter, the automaker is going down the road of the refreshed 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban with the updated 2025 Yukon and/or Yukon XL.

Even better, GMC has also started teasing the all-new Terrain, and together with the newly introduced 2024 Acadia, it's going to offer a very fresh roster of SUVs across the board. Naturally, everyone has their favorites – and it seems the updated Yukon has become a regular darling of the rumor mill and the imaginative realm of digital car content creators.

It has been spied numerous times – including in right-hand drive and completely devoid of camouflage. It has also been rendered on countless occasions by some of the craftiest CGI outlets out there. Some of them focused on the ritzy 2025 GMC Yukon Denali, but others only have eyes for the rugged all-terrain dweller, the 2025 GMC Yukon AT4, as it turns out.

For example, the good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube have a satellite venue dubbed AutoYa Interior, and that's where all the (CGI) Yukon action is going on right now. The main outlet has already put its resident pixel master to work hard, envisioning the 2025 GMC Yukon AT4 full-size SUV's refresh from the inside out with lots of ritzy colors.

So, you could ask – what else is there to showcase unofficially? Plenty, as it turns out. The cockpit-focused outlet doesn't shy away from showcasing the outside of the full-size SUV from the front-three quarter and the profile, complete with color options. But they also eagerly wonder about what's coming inside – and illustrate three possibilities: a slightly larger central display plus a redesigned climate tab; a new portrait-oriented large screen with a digital instrument cluster as seen in the 2024 Acadia; or a super-wide treatment akin to the one bestowed upon the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban.

Which is your favorite, and do you think GMC will closely mirror the updates announced on the Tahoe plus Suburban or announce something new, cool, and surprising?
