The Germans unveil a new concept about twice a year to preview their next cars, but the French sometimes do it simply for the art of it. This is probably what's going on with this concept car developed by Renault and Ross Lovegrove, a renowned industrial designer who is famous for making organic shapes for appliances and furniture.
We still have no idea what sort of concept they put together, but all will be revealed on April 8th at the Triennale of Milan event. For now, we have plenty of teaser photos to enjoy and maybe scoop a thing or two from.
The same sort of organic growth theme is used by the green wheels and the headlights or fog lights. It's quite amazing to look at, like a combination between tree branches and some sort of flowing, oozing plastic.
We have absolutely no idea what the car itself is, but the the rear is absolutely flat, so it could be the Twingo in disguise.
"Working with contemporary computational design, Ross Lovegrove and his studios intension is to reveal natures underlying blueprints and transfer them into a new design language," Rnault said.
