Is the Electric Ostrich One of the Future Vehicles?
An electric robot ostrich is a thing we don't get to see too often, but despite the awesome idea for a robot, we would rather stick with electric bikes at the moment. Building electric robotic animals is of course, something really wild, even by the standards of the most open minds, and that's why we're not going to bash the completely Sovietic design of this vehicle.
It may be that the art director of the project was not entirely sober when the idea popped into mind, but there's a lot of hope for an improved design. As wacky as it is, we must admit the idea is as awesome as it gets: being able to ride your own electric ostrich beats any electric motorcycle we ever saw hands down.

So far this EV is noisy, slow, has appalling silly looks, but the fun factor seems infinite. We'd certainly like to see this project carried on and receiving decent upgrades. If you feel like investing in the (presently) ridicule and can spare €1,130 ($1,500), these guys will probably be glad to build you a similar ostrich.

However, we'd advise to spend some more cash on a nice, powerful sound system and play the Trololo song as you cruise the city.

PS: is the electric ostrich street-legal?
