The French car that moved the hot hatch market forward is making its way to Australia now. We're talking about the new Renault Clio RS, the fourth generation model.
Expect to arrive in Australian dealerships this December, the new Clio RS is prices at a reasonable AU$28,790. The old three-door Clio 3 RS was a whopping $36,490 and still managed to gather up fans.
The cool thing is that even though the car is cheaper, it's more technologically advanced. The old 2-liter engine was replaced by a smaller 1.6-liter turbo with the same power but more torque. It also has a new EDC double-clutch gearbox as standard, which helps fuel efficiency and acceleration.
While there's no manual gearbox option, fans are surely going to appreciate the fastest car in its class and the cheapest one to sell with a double-clutch.
