Whenever a new Regular Car Reviews episode is uploaded on YouTube, we just know we’re about to have some fun watching. Last time it was the MINI Countryman who got poked for being chubby, now it’s time for the 2013 Mustang V6 to get a good scolding.
The review says that the 3.7-liter V6 delivers a lot less power than you’d expect by looking at the hood. “305 horsepower feels like 150”, while “revs will rise, but not without protest,” just to quote a few impressions.
The driver goes on to compare the Mustang with Harley-Davidson and Captain America, with all three being “frozen in time decades ago and resuscitated as living anachronisms”. Yeah, you’ll have to watch the video to understand more about the Mustang and its anachronisms.
Although not particularly fond of the V6 Mustang, Regular Car Reviews acknowledges that Ford’s pony will go on and on no matter what’s inside, as the Mustang is an idealized version of America. Scroll below to watch the full video review.
