This, ladies and gentleman, is a very rare bird indeed. It's the GTX1, the only convertible version of the Ford GT in the world, costing somewhere around $500,000.
This is number 1 of the 100 cars promised by Gennadi Dedign Group. The SEMA edition of the car received a host of additional upgrades including racing seats, adjustable shocks, Wilwood brakes, a power boost to 700-hp, a hidden rear bumper and some other interior tweaks.

Police Academy 7, Die Hard 3, it's hard to match the glory of the original with a copy of the same formula. But the Ford GT really managed to do this and do it well. It could be that the supercharged engine sound the business, or just the working man's supercar looks, but this uber-Ford is ultra-cool in our book.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
