24 Hours of Le Mans winner Seiji Ara had some track fun with the ludicrously fast Bugatti Veyron at the famed Fuji Speedway in Japan.
With more than ten years of international endurance racing to his name, Ara was very impressed with the piece of machinery that was the world’s fastest production car until early this week.
“I have never driven a car that has over 1,000 HP before. That was a first for me. The Veyron feels as though it could accelerate forever. The Veyron uses the best of what the current automobile engineering has to offer. There is a sense of feeling that only the Veyron can offer,” said Seiji Ara after a few laps in the French supercar.
Launched in 2005, the Bugatti Veyron is still popular among wealthy automotive enthusiasts thanks to its wide range of special versions, each coming in very limited numbers. The latest Veyron to be announced is the Grand Sport Vitesse WRC, which is the world’s fastest convertible.
