Rapper Flo Rida Charged for DUI in Bugatti Veyron

Being famous can often blur your judgment, making you think you’re invincible and nothing can happen to you, not even when you are driving under the influence on a suspended license, just like rapper Flo Rida was busted doing.

Flo Rida, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, was allegedly seen driving erratically in his red and black 2008 Bugatti Veyron yesterday night in Miami Beach, TMZ reports.

Naturally, the police felt it was only natural they pulled him over and question the driver behind the wheel of a sportscar that is able to reach a top speed of 410 km/h (255 mph).

The police officers noticed the rapper had bloodshot eyes and lacked clarity in his speech. They asked him to conduct a walk-the-line test, but he refused. "Officer I can't do this. I don't feel I can walk a straight line. I had a few drinks,” he reportedly told the cops. The 31-year-old “Low” hitmaker reportedly measured 0.185 on a breathalyser test, which is more than twice the legal limit.

In fact, right before this the rapper was at a birthday party at a Miami nightclub, and that’s where we assume he had those “couple of drinks.”

The police reports states that a large crowd gathered at the scene, asking the officers to let Flo Rida go, some of them even offering to drive the rapper home. After running a computer check on the rapper, they found out his driver license had been suspended last month for failing to pay a traffic fine.

Flo Rida was thus arrested and taken to the Dade County Jail in Miami Beach, where he got charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license. He was released about 12 hours later, after paying a $2,000 bail.
