Ice-T Not Wearing Seatbelt, Gets Arrested

American rapper and actor Ice-T was recently taken into custody after being pulled over for not wearing his seatbelt on July 19, TMZ reports. In fact, this was not exactly the reason for which he got arrested, but because the cops found out that he was allegedly driving on a suspended license.

Coco, his wife, was also in the car. The rapper was taken to a police station and released later that day. Shortly after, Coco posted the following message on her Twitter page: "Yes,Ice was arrested this morning but we don't know what the hell for! He's been released... We got pulled over for not wearing seatbelts."

Ice-T, however, says he has not broken any rules and is convinced authorities have it all wrong, because his license from his native state (New Jersey) is totally clean.

"That (suspended license) is some bulls**t they made up... Lie. For the record... My license is not suspended. I don't and never had a NYC licence. I have a valid NJ licence. It was all bulls**t,” Ice-T posted on his own Twitter page. "Some punk b**ch rookie cop named Fisher #10026 Made the arrest of his bulls**t career today. Arresting the Notorious Ice T for no seatbelt,” he later tweeted.

This, however, was not all that Ice-T has on his mind, as he seems to be more concerned about his bulldog Spartacus.

The rapper also wrote, "Annnnyway (sic)... Spartacus is doing well after his surgery this morning. He'll be home tomorrow. Wow! What a morning! Honestly I'm really only thinking bout my dog. I'm glad he' s ok.. Send your get wells to @cutespartacus."
