Any decent life coach will tell you in very vague terms that, in life, it does wonders if you set specific goals for yourself. Rapper and singer Anuel did that five years ago and, today, he can start 2021 right, at the wheel of his own Bugatti.
Anuel, real name Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, is a 28-year-old rapper and singer from Puerto Rico, widely considered a pioneer of the Latin trap movement. His bio on Instagram reads “El Dios de trap,” which translates to “God of trap,” and “Real hasta la muerte,” which is his signature phrase, “Real until I die.”

Like many other fellow rappers, Anuel favors a very expensive lifestyle, including private jets, Rolls-Royces and Lamborghinis, massive diamond jewelry, and designer duds. What he did not have, until now, is a Bugatti to call his own.

He does now: Wires Only, a “full service automotive, entertainment and aviation company founded by RD,” sold him a Bugatti Veyron and hand-delivered it to him in Miami, Florida. You can see that moment in the embeds below, but we have also included screenshots in the gallery, with Anuel showing it off.

The latest addition to his collection is a 2011 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, chassis number 088, painted white, with a striking and elegant white and red interior. Because a celebrity car is not worthy of the name without at least some form of customization, Anuel has had his motto embossed in the carpet: “Real hasta la muerte” reads the carpet at the driver’s feet.

Apparently, there’s a story behind the purchase as well, according to the rapper himself. He once promised himself that, if he were still alive and in the game within five years, he’d buy himself a Bugatti. 2021 is the year he fulfills that promise to his younger self.

See? The importance of life goals – and a reported $6 million in the bank.
