Jeff Summers, Head of Advertising, Ram Trucks, posted a lengthy LinkedIn explanation of 'The Convoy,' the video featuring the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO and other trucks that will ensure a Mopar bonanza for the foreseeable future.
Last month, Ram Trucks went a little 'nuts (and bolts)' when it unleashed a flurry of all-new or upgraded and refreshed trucks. The American truck maker initially put the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO centerstage but then doubled down, and we got to see what all of its models for the 2024MY and 2025MY had to offer.

There were no less than five of them that took center stage in the half-ton and heavy-duty families – the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO starting at $69,995 with 540 hp and the 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six twin-turbo, the 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel X ($64,195) with the exclusive Rough Road Cruise Control feature, the 2025 Ram 1500 Warlock ($54,260) as a tribute to the old days, plus the 2024 Ram 2500 Power Wagon ($68,470) and 2024 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Rebel ($68,965).

Naturally, all the spotlights across the red carpet were on the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO (which stands short for 'Rhino'), and the US truck maker continuously reiterates that the 540-hp is in no way the successor to the acclaimed 700-hp 2024 Ram 1500 TRX equipped with the 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8. Well, as it turns out, they are completely right – of course. Not just because it's less powerful but also because they have already laid out the seeds for the arrival of "the next Ram High HP vehicle with three letters."

By the way, this quote comes directly from the aforementioned Jeff Summers, Head of Advertising, Ram Trucks, who posted a long story about the Easter Eggs found by eagle-eyed fans in "The Convoy." That would be the introductory video that announced the impending arrival of the RHO and the rest of the Ram Trucks pack. The corner office head honcho at advertising posted no less than 20 so-called easter eggs (and hinted there are a few more still), but we're mostly interested in number nine, where the official explicitly mentions that one of the dirt bikes had the number 540 for the RHO and the other has a number intentionally left blank!

So, as we prepare for the arrival of the refreshed fifth-generation Ram Heavy Duty lineup, we should also keep an eye out for a potential new 1500 version featuring something akin or close to the TRX capabilities. Ram still has to bring out to dealerships the Ram 1500 REV all-electric pickup truck and the Ram 1500 Ramcharger range-extended PHEV, so chances are that we might see a spiritual heir to the TRX using electrons. Or we might get to see an even more powerful truck with the 3.0-liter Hurricane mill. So, what would you like to see – a Hurricane truck or an electrified monster as the next embodiment of the TRX spirit?
