Quadro 4D, the 4-Wheel Scooter

Now, 4-wheel scooters are one thing we're not quite accustomed to, but this doesn't mean they're some wort of weird, unnatural contraption. Italian manufacturer Quadro, prepares the 4D, a rather revolutionary idea in urban mobility, and still looking awesome despite its almost prototype approach.

The Quadro 4D is basically an evolved 350D model, and sports the same hydraulic tilting system. However, the addition of the 4th wheel made things a bit more complex from a technical point of view, increasing the dynamics at the same time.

The front track of the Quadro 4D is smaller than the rear one: 250mm versus 465mm, thus making this scooter eligible for motor tricycle homologation.

The independent wheel tilting system and an automotive-type quadruple disc braking array are to provide enhanced safety and stability, and by all means, taking a look at the 4D pictures Quadro surfaced, we're tempted to believe that such a 4-wheeler scooter is one of the most fun-to-drive vehicles around. We'll be back with further details and pricing.
