Porsche Design is in charge of several lifestyle products that are bound to bring additional prestige to the luxury carmaker around the planet. That’s quite common to any other such company. However, now and then we stumble upon a weird issue, things like a golden pen that costs new car money or one that makes SLS V8 engine sounds. This $30,000 luxury pool table clearly qualifies as one of those things.
The 247 by Porsche Design is an American pool table that uses 2 1/4’’ red and yellow balls as standard, with a slate bed, available in both 7 ft and 8 ft sizes. A sleek and visionary design comes in contrast to the bulky structure of billiard tables. It feels like it took inspiration from a fancy office table or an Ikea chair.

Apparently the clear and spheric geometry somehow follow the same principles of shape and function the Austrian studio has. Only high-quality materials such as stainless steel covered with a high-tech solid surface material named Corian were used.

The 247 comes complete with a cue rack in tune with the table design, four premium cues, leather pockets and 25mm Rasson ground slate that ensures perfect flatness. Professional rubber cushions, Simonis cloth and an accessories kit including an Aramith ball set complete the package.

The pool table has been around for a while now, but we accidentally stumbled upon it, and the price was too impressive not to share it with you people. You see, if you were to buy one right now the base price would be £19,997, which is about $30,000.

Other than the fact you could get a brand new Camaro with this kind of money, it’s not even remotely close to the level of coolness the 100mph Chevrolet pool table reaches.
