Porsche Design and Swiss Watchmaker Eterna Part Ways

Just as Ferrari, Porsche has also been collaborating with a brand for the company’s watch line, particularly with Eterna. Unfortunately, it seems that the two companies have decided to part ways and announced the termination of their contract.
Thus, we won’t be seeing anymore Porsche watches designed by the Swiss watchmaker. This will most likely sadden fans as Porsche and Eterna’s watches were certainly high quality ones. Still, even if the company was indeed an excellent partner it seems that wasn’t enough and they didn’t manage to attract so many customers. Thus, less profitability.

We’re uncertain about the future of Porsche Design watches, but we hope the company will be able to regroup and bring something new and interesting to the table. A change could possibly occur in the pricing, the company choosing to make its watches a bit more accessible to the public in order to keep customers interested. This could lead to more sales and make up for the loss of Eterna.

Concerning the Swizz watchmaker, the company has a new CEO named Bruno Jufer. Unlike the former one, Patrick Kury, he is more focused on sales rather than on creating something new and mind-blowing. Still, maybe it’s for the better as without Porsche Design, Eterna is going to have to work harder.
