Pinnacle of Super Sportscars Coming to Salon Prive 2011

One of the UK’s most exclusive and prestigious automotive events takes place in just over one month’s time. At Salon Prive, automobile royalty will be gracing the well manicured lawns of Syon House, West London, in a traditional English garden party setting at the height of London’s summer social season.

Since the event’s debut in 2006, the venue has grown in diversity and distinction, while retaining the intimacy and private garden party atmosphere that has become its trademark. A memorable spectacle of the event has always been the Supercar Lawn, where examples of the world’s most precious and impressive pieces of metal and carbon fiber magic are displayed for guests to get up close and personal with and 2011 is no different.

This year, Salon Prive guests will see the pinnacle of the super sports car segment, the new Lamborghini Aventador. Another show stopper is Bugatti’s new, 268 mph, land speed record breaking Veyron Super Sport.

This year also sees 13 other individual UK show debuts:
  • BMW 6 Series coupe and convertible
  • Maserati Gran Turismo MC Stradale
  • Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante
  • Range Rover Evoque
  • Aston Martin Virage & V8 Vantage S
  • Hennessy Venom GT
  • Arash AF-10
  • GTA Spano
  • Eagle E-Type Speedster Lightweight
  • Rolls-Royce 102EX
  • Jensen Interceptor R

“Salon Privé 2011 is going to be an excellent event; the interest we are experiencing from exhibitors is extraordinary. We’ve confirmed a number of UK debuts and many other very special vehicles. What’s more, we’ve substantially added to the event this year. Guests can now actually drive some of the cars on the super car lawn and we now have a bespoke, Quintessentially English RM Auction, truly adding to the interactivity. 2011 marks another influential change to Salon Privé and that lies under our beautiful new venue, Syon Park, which delivers more accessibility, space and indulgence,”
Salon Prive Co-Founder, David Bagley says.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
