When the owner of the truck in the adjacent clip decided to take its panels down in order to rebuild his old International Harverster Scout he found the vehicle hadn’t been sitting in vain, as it was swarmed by bees. Even though the sight was quite the shocker, luckily nobody was hurt as the beehive was safely removed.
Not only did the bees build up a true metropolis in the old truck, but it seemed they didn’t mind traveling from Huston to Jacksonville either. The truck owner took the old International Harvester Scout II after it had been sitting a long time planning to rebuild it. But work got stuck the moment he cut down the car’s panel and found thousands of bees living in it.

Somehow, the guy that taped the whole scene was pretty cool about it and, according to the YouTube description of the video, the bees were removed non-lethally and relocated to a new hive. It turns out the honey-makers had been accessing the quarter panel through rust holes.

Now, considering bees usually swarm during spring time, we’re guessing the beehive was there for some time. In fact, bees swarming cars is not really that of a rare incident. Experts claim this happens after a colony survives a cool winter, at which point they expand up to 50,000 worker bees in the warmer weather. However, these huge groups of buzzing golden brown and yellow bees are far from attacking anyone, as they are usually focused on finding a new home, suitable for their “town”.
