On June 30th, Peugeot will take on the 2013 Pikes Peak Hill Climb in a hugely impressive prototype based around the 208 supermini, a car that has never before set foot in America.
Today, the French have revealed a new look for the once black racer, which now looks like a rally stage car. The livery is bright and powerful, helping the 208 T18 stand out even more against the Colorado hills.

As the automaker has joined forces with key partners, like Total and Red Bull, the livery now reflects this as well.

The 208 T16 Pikes Peak race car is powered by a twin-turbo V6 engine that produces a massive 875 hp, delivered to all four wheels.

Set to be driven by nine time World Rally Championship winner Sebastien Loeb, we expect a lot from this car.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
