BMW truly thought about everything when they started developing the i sub-brand. For instance, they even thought about parking spaces, a problem that is suffocating more and more cities around the world.
In this regard, they signed a deal with a small app developer for ParkNow. The Android and iOS app lets drivers find and book parking spots in advance of reaching their destinations and even pay from their smartphone.
Sure, you still have to pay for the spot but isn’t it worth your time and nerves. Furthermore, with the new self-check in/out process, users can use garages themselves, without the help of any auxiliary personnel.
Unfortunately, at the moment, ParkNow is available only in the Bay Area (San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Walnut Creek, Palo Alto and Santa Clara) but more locations will open up soon. To explain things better, the BMW guys even put together a small video, showcasing how ParkNow works and improves your life.
