If the 280 horsepower Astra OPC / VXR (notice how you have to change accents when you say that?) is not for you, GM’s European division has another cool car for you to look at in Geneva. This cute little vehicle is supposed to be a micro-SUV. It’s called the Mokka and it has an American twin called the Buick Encore.
It will be available with a choice of front or all-wheel drive. And yes, the AWD system is not permanents, as it only sends power to the back when needed.

Opel has revealed the Mokka will be powered by three efficient engines, all equipped with fuel saving Start/Stop technology. The base engine is the 1.6-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder with 115 hp, but a far better choice would be the 140PS 1.4-litre Turbo with 200Nm of torque.
If you want diesel, the only chose is the 130PS 1.7 CDTI turbo with 300Nm of torque.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
