Yesterday, Opel officially revealed the Insignia Country Tourer, a beefed up version of their flagship estate model. The car took a page straight out of the Audi A6 all road quattro and the Passat Alltrack and we have to admit we were quite taken with it.
Although we loved the estate model, we wondered what it would be like if you didn't have that big boot hanging out the back. What if you just wanted to go places, but didn't want to cary anything other than a toothbrush and a bathing suit. You'd need a sedan.
Bucking the trend of rugged estates, X-Tomi Design dreamed up his own Opel Insignia Country, only his is a 5-door liftback sedan. We're not holding our breath when it comes to seeing this bad boy in production.
With a Haldex 4x4 system and electronic limited-slip differential sending torque from 0 to 100% between the two axles, this car would be no joke, a real adventurer's car.
