The BMW 5 Series turns 4 this year and the German company will be giving it, as usual, a slightly reshaped look, in its traditional LCI fashion. The refreshed 5 Series is expected to be officially unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in April.
We already caught a glimpse of the new face of the 5 Series last week, when it was spotted without camouflage. The photo we're looking at today shows exactly the same front design, reassuring us that this will be the official LCI 5 Series that will start production in July.

The German magazine Auto Zeitung will publish the photo inside its latest edition along with some details about the revised model. As we can see, the LCI 5er will have a restyled front bumper with sleeker headlights and completely modified fog lights. New features include the optional adaptive LED lights and the reworked exhaust system as well as some new alloy wheels.

The interior will pretty much stay the same, as it was the case with all the LCI facelifts BMW did up until now. The only change you might find inside the new 5 Series will be related to the new iDrive and ConnectedDrive systems fitted on the future 2014 models.
