After showing you some new spyshots of the F10 5 Series LCI Facelift yesterday, we have a new view on the most anticipated facelift of the year. Autobild shows, in its latest print edition, a rendering of how the future 5 Series might look like.
As you can see from the photo, the future 5 Series will be more focused on efficiency. That is why the facelift will update the front side, making it more similar to the EfficientDynamics version. The nose will be redesigned and realigned with the new headlights that will start being available with optional LED Adaptive systems.

Of course, as expected with any BMW, the facelift won't be radical, as the F10 is very popular already and is already regarded as the segment's benchmark. Most changes will be made regarding engines and optional features.

For the first time after the E34, the F10 will be showing the "518d" badge on the boot lid. That means that the new entry-level model will be a 2-liter diesel of, probably 143 HP.

Another new feature that will be available on the LCI 5 Series will be the cylinder dimming system that is now available on the 7 Series. We can only wait and see how the new face of the 5 Series will look like and hope it isn't disappointing, even though major changes are not going to take place.
