This year the F10 5 Series turns 4 and that means that BMW will be releasing a facelift for their popular saloon. The thing is, along with the 5 Series, the M5 will also receive a facelift even though it was released in 2011.
As we already wrote a while back the LCI 5 Series will be launched along with a Plug-In Hybrid version. That one will be an interesting car to see not only design-wise but also regarding the sales. We'll have to see if the markets are prepared and mature enough for this new model to be well received.

The M5 will be undergoing the same facelift process as the standard 5 Series and will probably remain the most attractive 5er in the BMW line-up. From the spyshots that out photographer sent us we can easily observe the areas where BMW will make changes.

The front bumper will be slightly redesigned along with the headlights and the whole area around the kidney grilles.

Looking at the back side, only a fraction of the current design will be changed. The skirt will be redesigned, along with some portions of the taillights. The new model will also have some new optionals, like ceramic brakes and some new extras for a better track use.
