Ever since the first spyshots showed up, we've been keeping an eye on the 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package. And we've once again brought the model under the spotlights, as we have a brilliant spec to share with you.
The GT3 TP we have here is dressed in Oak Green Metallic and, in our book, this refined color perfectly complements the discreet lines of the Porscha.
Satin aluminum was the color choice for the wheels of this Neunelfer, while the presence of the banana-colored calipers means the machine is gifted with PCCB (Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes) goodies.
This machine packs quite a few CCX options, with these covering both the exterior and the interior of the rear-engined animal. An example of the first comes from the colored Porsche crest found on the center-lock wheels.
As for the cabin, this brings a mix of Black and Cognac leather. The latter is present on elements like the full bucket seats, the lower dash trim, the gear shifter and boot, as well as on the center console storage lid.
Now, you might wonder how such a configuration comes together. Well, you should know that the owner of the Porscha took the time to share the story of the configuration with us.
“I wanted to create a timeless and elegant piece, and I am quite happy with the result. My first idea was to make the entire interior in Cognac, but luckily and last minute I decided to only pick a few elements to create some “highlights”. Oak is a great color for the Touring and the satin aluminum wheels are just perfect from at least my point of view,” the man explains.
Then again, we also enjoy keeping an eye on other Zuffenhausen models and we can't wait to be able to bring you the production version of the 911 Speedster and perhaps the 911 GT3 Cabriolet.
