NY City Workers Clear Snow, Trash Ford Explorer

How about that snow? Plenty of it, we know, enough to make our Christmas merry and the days which followed a complete nightmare. Tons and tons of snow have swallowed streets, people, cars, buildings and, as it seems, a fair share of common sense and decency.

The good thing about all this snow is that some of us may enjoy a little rest and relaxation this week, away from work, annoying colleagues and a boss with a mission to get us. The house is warm, food is plenty, the car safely parked outside...

No, not safely. Not if you are enjoying your r&r in New York. Especially on the streets this crew of city workers operates. Two or three guys with very little to no brains whatsoever, a front-end loader, a tow truck, tons of slippery snow... What can go wrong?

Well, everything. You can see it all in the video below (warning: very foul language from a very outraged witness included). The front-end loader gets stuck in snow. The tow-truck tries to help by pulling it out. Than all hell breaks loose.

The snow tosses the heavy machinery from side to side, as it fights to break loose from the icy grip. Close, very close, a Ford Explorer was until now safely parked. The heavy machine, unable to control itself, begins ramming the Explorer. What follows is unbelievable.

The city guys are so determined to get the damn thing out of the snow that they stop for nothing. They hit, and hit and crash the SUV with no mercy, throwing it in the car in front several times. The damage to car, extensive enough to spoil the New Year's party, look even more painful watched from above.
