Several brand-new creations stand out at the Japan Mobility Show, and one of them is the Nissan Hyper Force Concept. Following hot on the heels of the previous four Hyper studies, one of which debuted each week since the beginning of October, it is the final installment of the series.
The new show car has a futuristic styling with a few OTT cues here and there, especially up front, where it features a large bumper with side canards and a big air intake in the middle, and a pair of LED headlights flanking the grille-like part that's decorated by a pixelated logo in the veins of the GT-R.

The bulky front fenders have active vents above the wheels, and instead of the regular side mirrors, it comes with cameras for a sleeker appearance. The rear three-quarter design looks very similar to the GT-R, and so do the taillights. The back end has a squared styling and comprises the diffuser and the aggressive wing, too.

Sitting on a pair of aero-styled wheels wrapped in Dunlop tires with white branding, Nissan's new Hyper Force uses a solid-state battery that feeds electrons to the electric powertrain. The Japanese automaker hasn't gone into specifics, but it announced that it can generate up to one megawatt of power, or 1,340 hp (1,360 ps). The vehicle comes with electric all-wheel drive, produces tons of downforce, and has a lightweight construction courtesy of the extensive use of carbon fiber in the body.

Opening the butterfly doors will reveal the interior that was inspired by the world of gaming. It features two driving modes named the R (racing) and GT (grand touring), and the colors and display, which were created in collaboration with Polyphony Digital, the Gran Turismo videogame developers, change according to the selected one.

In the R, red bathes the cockpit, and the dashboard panels extend toward the two carbon fiber bucket seats with four-point seatbelts to improve the overall feel for the person holding the yoke-like steering wheel. The four satellite screens around the wheel display critical information such as the power distribution, temperature of the brakes and tires, air pressure, and so on.

Choosing GT will illuminate the cabin in blue and will see the displays mentioned above move away and combine together for a simple infotainment-like interface. This is used to control most functions of the car, from the suspension to the audio and air conditioning.

The augmented reality and virtual reality experiences blend together when the car is stopped, as the driver can use a special helmet that allows them to play video games. Moreover, the Hyper Force features autonomous driving and has a hyper LIDAR with an array of sensors said to have been "tuned for sports driving."

Mind you, while Nissan hasn't made any reference to the iconic Godzilla in the press release, the show car clearly sends GT-R vibes. Albeit pixelated, it has a similar logo up front and a back-end design that was clearly inspired by the GT-R. Certain elements "pay homage to Nissan's high-performance cars," the Japanese company says, so the main hints are certainly there.

The highly powerful electric assembly will place it at the top of the food chain in its segment, especially if it comes with at least one megawatt of power, and whether you like it or not, you should get used to zero-emission power when it comes to the world of super and hypercars (and not only, obviously).
