Nissan has announced its return to top-level racing in the United States, teaming up with Muscle Milk Pickett Racing for the 2014 Tudor United SportsCar Championship. Previously powered by Honda, Greg Pickett’s Oreca 03 will now use an engine developed by Nissan Nismo.
The new team will debut at the Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 25-26, when the first race of the 2014 Tudor United SportsCar Championship. At Daytona, the Muscle Milk Pickett Racing car will be driven by Lucas Luhr, Klaus Graf and Nissan P2 World Endurance Championship regular Alex Brundle.
