Nissan NV Offered with Free Upgrade Packages

Nissan has big plans for its NV van series. The body-on-frame commercial vehicles promise to offer multiple assets, catering for a wide variety of transportation needs. However, this might not be enough to temps US buyers, so the automaker decided to add some extra topping to its offer.

Nissan is allowing NV customers to choose between a no-charge commercial uplift pack or a no-charge exterior graphics package. The offer targets business customers who purchase or lease a Nissan NV1500, NV2500 HD or NV3500 HD commercial van.

The upfit packs, which come from Adrian Steel, bring a Cargo Management System with a steel carbon/cargo partition and three 44-inch shelving units, or an Utility Pack the comes with a steel cabin/cargo partition, as well as an exterior (Standard Roof) or interior (High Roof) utility rack.

Those choosing the graphics kit, which comes from Original Wraps, receive up to 70 sq-ft of exterior graphic material.

However, if none of the aforementioned packages seems useful to you, Nissan can cut the vehicle's price by $300 instead (the van comes with a pricetag of $24,590).

"As part of our commitment to providing 'innovation for business,' we're taking an innovative approach to offering added business solutions – high quality cargo management packages or an industry exclusive offering of custom exterior graphics – right from the launch of the exciting new Nissan NV," said Joe Castelli, vice president, Nissan Commercial Vehicles and Fleet, NNA. "We know commercial vehicle buyers customize their vehicles to meet their business needs, and we want to be part of the solution for them."
