From now on, Nissan vehicles will allow their users to enjoy Apple’s iTunes Radio. The Japanese carmaker brags that, for 2013, it is the only name in the car business to offer such means of infotainment.
The audi treat is scheduled to start with the 2014 Nissan Roque, as well as with the 2014 Versa Note and Leaf.
Apple hasn’t announced anything about other automakers following next year, but we can presume this will happen since Nissan calls itself the “exclusive automotive partner through 2013”.
"We see iTunes Radio as an integral part of our new vehicle launches and 'big moments,' riding the wave of interest and usage of this exciting new service to maximize exposure of Nissan's new models," said Jon Brancheau, vice president, Marketing, Nissan North America.
In addition, Nissan will expand its own marketing onto Apple’s environment.
"We're also adding iAd on iTunes Radio as a critical platform in support of ongoing campaigns, such as our college football and Heisman Trophy Tour initiative," Brancheau explained. "It's a great way for Nissan to reach the right audiences in the right markets."
