Nissan, as most other manufacturers nowadays, is in a constant process of boosting/changing their image, through the launch of new models, modification of old models, various ad campaigns and new philosophies. Now, they are trying to boost the sporting appeal of their brand for the 2013 Tokyo Motor Salon.
They have announced that they will be bringing tuned versions of the Juke, the new Note, GT-R, Leaf EV, Fairlady Z and even the NV350 van.

The highlight of the Nissan section of the show will be the GT-R Nismo GT3, the Leaf Nismo Performance Package and the ever-present Juke Nismo.

Even the very boxy NV350 Caravan Rider Transporter is getting a sporty makeover for the Japanese motor show.

The lineup will be completed a number of racing cars, including the Delta Wing, which made quite an impact on motor racing fans, last year, when it proved that being different sometimes means better, and that the established way of building a racing car may not be the best.
