Nissan cube Gets Custom Graphics, Juke to Follow

Nissan has partnered with vehicle personalization and customization products provider Original Wraps to launch NissanGraphics. The service provides vehicle graphics personalization technology for the cube model, with graphics available for the Juke in late October, and the Frontier and other models later this year.

“Nissan is a forward-thinking manufacturer and partnering with them for customized graphics was a natural fit,”
stated Tom Stemple, CEO, Original Wraps. “With hundreds of different graphics from which to choose, we are excited to see Nissan owners display their individuality with NissanGraphics.com.”

According to Nissan, all products are printed with only the finest 3M vinyl and laminate available. This material adds durability to the product and lessens the effects of UV light on the material. However, there are many variables involved such as where the vehicle is parked, if it is washed regularly, and whether it was installed properly.

The Original Wraps graphics are made with 3M’s Scotchprint Personalized Vehicle Graphic Film plus a clear graphic protection layer. The vinyl graphics will not damage the vehicle’s paint. However, if applying after a new paint job, one should wait at least six weeks before applying the vinyl. When removing the vinyl, Nissan assures there will not be any residue left.

“Hand washing of your vehicle and its graphics is recommended. Avoid abrasive materials, petroleum distillates (such as tar removers) and car washes that use brushes or high pressure. Six weeks after the graphics are applied you can use automotive wax over your vehicle, but avoid products designed for cleaning and waxing in a single step as they contain more solvents, which could affect the graphics,” Nissan says.

Currently, the company is not able to offer custom designed orders on anything except fleet line vehicles. Wraps are all removable, residue free, durable, and scratch resistant. The Nissan Graphics carry the same 3 year/36,000 mile warranty as the vehicle they are applied on.
