The old-money flagship of the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class has arrived in Detroit, at the 2014 North American International Auto Show and a Chinese website has managed to snap a few photos of the model right on the show's floor before its public unveil.
The exterior design of the new Mercedes-Benz S 600 V222 recreate the exterior elements we first saw on the leaked brochure photos from a few days ago, apart from the wheels, which seem to be borrowed from the S 63 AMG for some reason.
This is the first time when we see some better photos of the interior, which makes us both happy and sad at the same time.
We're happy because the diamond-pattern of the manually-stitched leather upholstery is different than on any other model in the S-Class range, but slightly sad because the interior doesn't seem to sport the new touchpad controller introduced on the S 63 AMG.
We are now expecting for official photos and a press release regarding the model, even though it should only confirm most of what we already know.
