Renault has made the Clio 4 bigger to offer the most practical car it could for the supermini segment. It's also no longer available as a 3-door, which has created more room underneath it in the model lineup.
A new Twingo is on the way, likely previewed by the Twin-Run concept which had a big V6 engine on it. The third-gen Twingo will debut in 2014 and could look a little bit like the rendering above, created by Theophilus Chin.

The images are pretty much self-explanatory, which is why we'd much rather focus on what's behind the story.

Daimler and Renault have combined their efforts to create two cars which will become the new smart fortwo and forfour as well. Two concept cars have already been revealed, the Twin'Z which is a five-door and the Twin'Run which is a three-door. Both are rear-engined and rear-wheel drive, not like the Twingo at all.

Instead, we believe Renault could be working on a posh city car brand and the only logical way to do this is to revive a name from the past. Both the front and the rear of the car in our renderings have strong hints of Renault 5 design, and we could even see the iconic 5 Turbo coming back onto the automotive scene.
