New Renault Clio, Clio RS Prices Released

Renault has just announced French pricing details of the new Renault Clio lineup, including the new Clio RS and and Sport Tourer. Prices start at 12,800 euros ($16,900) for the Authentique 3-door saloon and go up to 25,600 euros ($33,900) for the RS Luxe.
Overall, there will be six versions available, as it follows: Authentique, Expression, Dynamique, Exception (+ Exception leather pack), GT and Renault Sport. Additionally, three sport versions will join the range: New Renault Clio GT and Clio Renault Sport Trophy and Luxe (+ limited edition Cup). In terms of engine, the new Clio comes in a choice of three diesels and five petrol units, including a new entry, the 1.6-liter 16V 128 horsepower that powers the GT version.

In terms of equipment, the Authentique - sold for 12,800 euros - comes with front and side airbags, ABS with Electronic Brake Balance Control and EBA, electric front windows, chrome headlamp masks, on-board computer an ISOFIX points on rear seats. The Expression version (with a starting price of 14,700 euros) adds follow me home lighting, chrome handles, fog lamps, MP3 player, electrically-operated side mirrors and key with folding blade.

The Dynamique edition (priced at 16,700 euros) brings foamed dashboard, tinted rear windows, leather steering wheel and gear knob, manual air conditioning, two curtain head airbags in front and rear seats plus pre-tensioners on rear outer seats.

The top-of-the-range version Initiale - projected to go on sale later this year - with a price of around 2,750 euros over the Exception version, adds Carminat Tom-Tom navigation system, hands-free Renault card, metallic paintwork, cornering lamps, leather upholstery, rear window sunblind and a so-called city pack consisting of parking assistance and electrically-controlled foldable rear-view mirrors.
