We already know that Nissan is working on a number of new and significantly refreshed vehicles for the US market, since they released a teaser of five cars under covers when the 2013 Altima sedan was revealed.
It looks like the next to arrive is the redesigned Rogue crossover, the brother of the European Qashqai that will be based on the design of the Hi-Cross concept shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

The announcement has actually been made official by the Japanese automaker in between all the new of 2013 Altima production.

The new Rogue will come in 2013 as a 2014 model year car, and will be built on Nissan’s production line in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Little else is known about the new crossover, but as you can see from the photo, the shape under the cover looks remarkably similar to the Hi-Cross concept ( second on the left).

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
