New Nissan Leaf Ad Is Simple and Straightforward

Instead of relying on complicated concepts and ideas to get a car ad to work at its peak intended efficiency, as some manufacturers tend to do, when they try to hard to sell a car as being in a certain way, or doing a particular thing, Nissan have decided to promote the Leaf in a much more straightforward way - clear facts, simple concept and easy to understand idea.
Their new 60-second ad starts off with “What if you could drive the future, today?”, touting the Leaf as being the future. They show off some of the car’s more advanced features, such as remote operation of the climate control and being able to use the car to power your house, thus reducing your electricity bills considerably, storing cheap electricity available during the night, and using it during the day, as the house is completely disconnected from the grid - a really clever concept, to our eyes.

Nissan is desperate to get the ball rolling with the sales of its leaf, but after a disastrous September, apparently October will be a much better month - we will just have to wait and see.
