Japanese automaker Nissan has announced plans to introduce a new concept car at this year's Shanghai Motor Show in China.
Named Friend-ME, the new concept vehicle is designed for the "vibrant, young generation in China". In fact, Nissan promises to "excite" the Shanghai Motor Show with an unique center console called "Four Seats, One Mind Connectivity". In English, that means infotainment system for both the front and rear passengers.
Something tells us that Friend-ME could cause excitement in other corners of the world as well, but if Nissan wants to unwrap the concept car in China, so be it! Since the mysterious vehicle was developed at Nissan Design China in Beijing, it actually makes sense.
But the Friend-ME won't be the only Nissan car showcased in Shanghai. The Japanese company sent twenty vehicles over there, including the GT-R, Quest, Murano and its recently-launched Teana sedan.
Hopefully, we'll be back with more info on the Nissan Friend-ME concept.
