Honda continues to focus on its "EarthDreams" family of engines, this bringing a special diesel engine for the lucrative Indian market. The 1.5-liter turbo diesel will be launched on the 2013 Honda Brio Amaze Conpact Sedan starting next month and could be the most efficient car sold in the country.the 1.5 i-DTEC reportedly delivers a reported 26 km/l, equivalent to 3.84 l/100km.
The amazing fuel-sipper is derived from the new 1.6 i-DTEC sold in Europe on the Civic and CR-V. It produces a very respectable 100 PS an 200 Nm of torque, all available from low revs. The engine is built from aluminum and features reduced-friction components.

The car will also be available with the 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol engine that currently offers its services to the Jazz/Fit and Brio hatchbacks.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
