The Mazda6 might not be the most dynamic saloon on the market, but for its size, it’s quite the handsome executive/family vehicle. Late last year, in front of a crowd of automotive journalist eager to go over its lines, the brand new Mazda Takeri Concept was revealed today at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show.
The concept showed what the next Mazda6 will look like, but also what kind of tech it might use. We’re excited to report that the production four-door is readying completion, and German magazine Auto Motor und Sport says it will bow at the 2012 Paris International Auto Show.

The concept for the mid-size sedan made use of the Japanese automaker’s KODO design language and featured SKYACTIV tech (it is powered by a SKYACTIV-D diesel unit), including the company’s first regenerative braking system.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
